Mutoids emerge from the depths ravenous for violence
and flesh.
These untamed hulks freeze, pupils dilate from the brilliant light.
The revenants are focused on the cityscape.
Both warring factions now have a common enemy.
Legitimate existence, vanquish their ancestry,
cauterize the species.
Practical alliance fueled by disgust, searing with contempt.
The horde presses forth to decimate the civilization before them.
A scarlet haze blankets their sight.
Rusted implements collected for the assault.
Weaponized creatures initiate destruction protocol.
Infantry rumble across the landscape, eroding the soil.
Experimental orphans seeking redemption.
Foreign presence detected, soldiers dispatched,
projectiles armed.
Would-be warriors clamour to disguise the fear.
Objective: eradicate enemy with extreme prejudice.
Fortress under siege from outside aggressors.
Chaos ensues, barbaric tentacles thrash all in their path.
Weapons glide through flesh, teeth and claws used to feast.
Juggernauts dominate, wounded and dying but still fight on!
Vulnerable captives scatter as the impending doom
crushes forward.
Meager attempts to thwart the beasts have failed.
Overwrought with defeat, they wonder why.
Ignorant in their role, paying for the sins of their fathers.
Looking to the future but destroyed by the past.
